London, 24 May 2019: Vue International announces the successful acquisition of Cinema3D in Poland, expanding its premium out-of-home entertainment offering to 45 sites and 322 screens across Poland and 230 sites and 2006 screens internationally.
Vue already has a leading position in Poland delivering record attendance in 2018. The acquisition continues Vue's successful growth strategy, adding a further 13 sites and 65 screens to its portfolio.
The 13th site has just opened as the newest site in the portfolio, launching on Thursday 23rd May 2019, in the heart of the newly built and one of the largest shopping centres in Warsaw. The cinema has been opened under the Multikino brand and is the first and only cinema in Warsaw fully equipped with all leather recliner chairs providing a premium out-of-home entertainment experience.
The new cinema has a total of 10 screens equipped with 4K laser projectors, Dolby Atmos surround sound systems and totals 935 recliner seats.

Cinema 3D is a modern, stadium seated circuit which fits well within Vue's international estate. The cinemas are located in retail and leisure developments including some of the largest shopping centres in the region.
The acquisition has been carried out by a subsidiary of Vue International Bidco plc and financed via existing resources.
