31 December 2024, London; Tim Richards, Founder and CEO of VUE, has been appointed by His Majesty King Charles III, Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the New Year Honours List 2025 for his achievements and services to British Film and Cinema. Most recently, Tim served as Chair of the British Film Institute following eight years serving as Governor. Prior to this, Tim held positions on industry boards including BAFTA, the UK Cinema Association, Film London, the Union Internationale de Cinemas, the British Screen Advisory Council as well as numerous government-led industry task forces.
