Creative Skillset, the industry skills body for the screen-based creative industries, is pleased to announce that Dee Vassili is joining its Finance and Audit Committee.
Dee is Executive Director, Group HR, for Vue International and will bring her human resources management expertise and experience of working with a world-leading cinema operator to the committee.
The Finance and Audit Committee is responsible for advising on all financial aspects of the corporate and charity operations of Creative Skillset. The other members of the Finance and Audit Committee are:

Dee Vassili’s international career started at Virgin Megastores and during her time with the Virgin business she helped drive a considerable transformation programme, as the entertainment retailer grew from 10 to over 300 stores. Dee then went on to take international senior executive roles at Reuters and Warner Bros before moving to Vue Entertainment. For the last 13 years Dee has been helping to grow the cinema group from a UK-based business to become a world leading operator, managing the most respected brands in major European markets and Taiwan with over 8,500 employees across 10 countries with 212 cinemas.
Stephanie Mills, Group Financial Controller, Channel 4 and Chair of the Creative Skillset Finance and Audit Committee, said: “I am delighted that Dee has agreed to join us on the Committee as our HR expert.
